| Prince William Sound Glacier Cruise |
When: Friday, July 16 Fee: $80 per person Depart: 9:00 am from Captain Cook Hotel Return: 5:00 pm to Girdwood if attending Directors/Commissioners reception or 6:00 pm to Anchorage
Guests joining us on this trip will travel south along Turnagain Arm on the scenic Seward Highway to the port of Whittier. Relax in a comfortable motorcoach while you take in the incredible views and keep an eye out for wildlife. Spend a magnificent afternoon exploring the calm, protected waters of Prince William Sound, renowned for its numerous tidewater glaciers and spectacular scenery. We will cruise into Blackstone Bay, well known for its towering cliffs, sea birds, and impressive Blackstone Glacier. Enjoy a delicious lunch of Alaska king crab cakes served on board while your captain, a certified naturalist, narrates the 4-hour trip and guides your boat to some of the most amazing sights you will ever see. The stable, custom sightseeing boats are designed with your comfort in mind, with walk-around viewing decks, spacious heated cabins, large windows, indoor seating, a snack bar, and restrooms. Following the glacier cruise, we will visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center for the opportunity to view captive moose, bears, musk ox, and other animals up close in an outdoor setting.

Items to bring along:
- Warm layers, hat and gloves (it can get chilly on the water!)
- Wind/Rain protection
- Sun protection – sunglasses, sunscreen, visor or hat
- Camera and binoculars
If you are attending the Directors/Commissioners reception as a spouse or guest a van will transport you to
Girdwood to join in those festivities.
This trip can accommodate a maximum of 50 participants. If fewer than 10 guests register for this trip, the trip may be cancelled and your activity fee will be refunded.
Registration deadline for guest activities is June 15th. If space is available, guests may have the opportunity to register at a later date or during the meeting.
