Area Attractions
  • Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary
Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary is a 12-acre non-profit nature preserve, located in the heart of Modjeska Canyon adjacent to the Cleveland National Forest. Tucker's facilities include a small natural history museum/interpretive center, two ponds, a bird observation porch and feeders, relaxing patio and picnic areas, a small amphitheater, a caretaker's house, hiking trails, a gift shop, restrooms and an ample visitor parking lot.

  • Limestone Canyon & Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park
Limestone Canyon & Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park encompasses approximately 4,300 acres of riparian and oak woodland canyons, rolling grassland hills and steep slopes of coastal sage scrub and chaparral. The park is highlighted by scenic rock formations, including the beautiful Red Rock Canyon. There are three intermittent streams: Borrego, Serrano and Aliso Creek meandering through the park, each hosting an abundance of wildlife. Remnants of the former cattle ranching days can be seen throughout the park.

  • Orange County Wild
There is a world of wildlife right here in Orange County. Hawks, bobcats, owls, badger, mule deer, horned lizard, California quail, king snake, gray fox, long-tailed weasel, slender salamander, arroyo toad and Pacific tree frog are among the multitude of species sharing our open space.
