Statement of Purpose:
Make interim decisions for the Association as defined in the Constitution and Bylaws; consider petitions for technical committees, workshops and other regional coordination efforts within the domain of the Association; set registration fee for next year's conference; review and approve ideas, recommendations and decisions of other committees as appropriate; and oversee all contracts.
Association Objectives:
The objectives of the Association are:
- Solicit and determine items for committee meeting agenda (February - if needed & May).
- Provide Secretary with final agenda (March - if needed & June).
- Chair the committee meeting, direct discussion (March - if needed & July).
- Present an oral committee report at the annual business meeting (July).
- Present plaque to outgoing WAFWA president at conclusion of the annual business meeting.
- Deliver comments to the membership, after the gavel exchange, regarding your priorities for the coming year as the new WAFWA president.
- Complete committee action items identified at the annual meeting (ongoing).
- Report at the mid-winter meeting, if requested by the directors (January).
- Convene such other meetings of the Executive Committee throughout the year, as may be necessary to conduct Association business in a timely manner.
