Wildlife, Water and Energy: Balancing Our Future
 WAFWA is a regional association of state and provincial fish and wildlife agencies. WAFWA represents 23 states and Canadian provinces, spanning from Alaska to Texas and Saskatchewan to Hawaii—an area covering nearly 3.7 million square miles of some of North America's most wild and scenic country, inhabited by more than 1500 premier wildlife species. WAFWA is committed to protecting and enhancing the fish and wildlife resources of the West and the habitat upon which they depend, so that future generations can enjoy our natural heritage.
The winter and summer annual meetings bring together senior level management of fish and wildlife agencies, and offer educational sessions and opportunities to discuss current issues in the field and pertinent topics to the industry through workshops, social networking events, and an exhibit area. |
