The WAFWA 2016 Summer Meeting will be held at the Buffalo Bill Village Resort located in the heart of charming downtown Cody, Wyoming. There are three hotels that are all located on the same property within walking distance of each other - Holiday Inn, Comfort Inn, and Buffalo Bill Cabins.
Airport Shuttle Service: The Buffalo Bill Village Resort offers complimentary airport shuttle service to/from Yellowstone Regional Airport (COD). The shuttle service runs 24-7; when you arrive at the airport, call the hotel to request transportation: 1-307-587-5555. If you are staying elsewhere, check with your hotel to see if this service is provided. Taxi service is also available at the airport.
Overflow lodging was established at two locations: A Western Rose Motel and the Best Western Sunset Inn but has sold out.
There are other hotels nearby the Buffalo Bill Village Resort that may have overnight accommodations available during the conference dates. A group block has not been set up at these properties so rates are not guaranteed. Call the property to check rates and availability.
An inter-hotel shuttle has been arranged for those staying off of the Buffalo Bill Village Resort and not within a reasonable walking distance. The shuttle will stop at these locations (view the map) during peak hours of the conference:
The full loop will likely take 20-30 minutes round trip depending on traffic. Look for a van with a WAFWA Shuttle sign in it. Outside of the peak hours, the shuttle will run on request by calling a designated phone number. Here are the details:
